Competition never seems to stop for this dedicated group of musicians in our Band and Orchestra program.  Great success was found in this last contest of the year.

What a weekend! Symphonic Band and Concert Orchestra performed on Friday evening. Symphonic Band received a gold and a gold in sight reading. Concert Orchestra received a silver and a silver in sight reading.

Saturday, Symphony Orchestra performed and received a gold and a gold in sight reading. Wind Ensemble received a gold and a gold in sight reading.

It’s important to note that NONE of these students have been through the sight reading experience because of COVID. This is the first year it has returned to the assessment process.

The kids represented themselves in such a positive way – they should be so proud of what they accomplished.
