During the week of homecoming, a group of senior and junior girls face each other in flag football. If the seniors take down the juniors they earn points towards their class. And the same goes for the juniors. Powder puff is a game where girls play “football” but instead of tackling they have flags around them that they pull off. This event leads students to come together and have fun. The game was an exciting thing to be apart of said by Summer Shinkle. The girls had the opportunity to practice before the game came up. The senior girls practiced at night through the rain. Which led them to a victory against the juniors. After the seniors lost last year as juniors they came back and defeated the juniors 42-0. Mrs. Torres said “The game was a success, Thank you to everyone who assisted!! Seniors are crowned the champs!”
